The 2nd edition of this highly popular race is supported by ibis hotels, the Tourism Authority of Thailand, the Thai hotel association and the Samui district.
Created to promote and expose the beauty of Samui Island, the event will also raise funds for “The Green Island Project”; a Samui based environmental organization.
Scheduled on October 2nd and part of the Amazing Thailand Adventure Race Series, the race will attract 150 teams from around the world. This Series is by far the largest and most exciting Adventure Race Series in Asia.
The competitors will hike and run through unspoiled jungle, paddle and swim in the turquoise waters of the Gulf of Thailand and cycle over the hills and farmlands of this unique tropical Island.
As AMA strives to promote the sports for youngsters in Thailand and in order to make it a festive event involving local communities and schools, a 5 km fun run for all will be offered as a parallel event to the Adventure Race.

Each competitor must start the race with 2 litres of mineral water (camelback is highly recommended)
Mountain or off road bike
Bicycle helmet, Tyre repair kit (min.2 spare tubes, tyre inflation device) per team
