North Face 100 Race Tee.....

Salomon Urban Trail Run - Singapore

This year, it will be the first time participants can throng the former KTM Railway track, capturing a slice of history. An approximately 2.5km of the former KTM Railway track starting at Alexandra Village will be part of the trial challenge. Trains ran on the railway since 1932 and the 26km tract from Woodlands to Tanjong Pagar was returned to Singapore last July as agreed with Malaysia, in exchange for land parcels in Marina South and Ophir-Rochor. Runners will see Singapore in different facets – from urbanized concrete roads, lush greenery to nostalgic moments of yesteryears.
The 14km trail challenge is cohesively organized by Tiong Bahru Community Centre Management Committee and Tangjung Pagar, Tiong Bahru Community Sports Club. The Tiong Bahru Urban Trail Run hopes to encourage more road runners to give a shot at trail running. While road and track running can be mundane on flat grounds, trail running tends to traverse varying terrains that inject more excitement for the adrenaline junkies. There will be two categories – Men’s and Women’s Open.
