Placing Medal:
- Will be awarded to the Top 5 qualified finishers to each Individual category.
- Will be awarded to the Top 3 qualified finishers to each Men's Team & Mixed Team category.
- Will be awarded to the Top 3 qualified finishers to each Media category.

Top University:
- Points are tabulated based on the total number of University students who take part in the entire series irrespective of whether they race 1,2 or 3 races including team relay racers. Valid Student Cards must be produced upon registration.

Best University:
- Points are tabulated based on accumulated points from University students who race in all 3 legs of the Malakoff University Duathlon Series (must take part in all three races - MUDS UPNM, MUDS UM and MUDS UPM to be eligible). Valid Student Cards must be produced upon registration.

Powerbar University Duathlete of The Year:
- All Malaysian participants competing in the University Category of all 3 legs of the Malakoff University Duathlon Series are eligible/entitled for the above award.

- A challenge trophy will be awarded to the Powerbar Men's University Duathlete of the year and the Powerbar Women's University Duathlete of the year.

- Participants competing for the “Powerbar University Duathlete of the year” award MUST start at all 3 legs of the Malakoff University Duathlon Series.
