Greetings

Welcome to the world..eer..still to be call a 'world' maybe..just a small network among few of us who are bunch of newbies, weirdo's, professional..mm..what ever u like to call it! Team members including a cockroaches, fatdog, a clam(lala), a father of two who always saying some unexpected funny words & with his trademark quote..'nandieyohhhhhh'! and an old man..well..just a piece of shitttt whose favourites is 'mat salleh herbal tea' & ya..'what is life without herbal tea'! hehehhh! And of course..there are those weirdo's who never show up yet but im sure will be inserted soon enough!

Hopefully everyone would be logging in and write up some stories from time to time, from now on.

Run for A Ray of Hope 2010

Charity Run – Run for A Ray of Hope, is part of our program in Health Fiesta which is organised by the medical students of the National University of Malaysia (UKM). The purpose of this Charity Run is to raise funds for patients who are in need of financial support for their treatment in PPUKM, Cheras.
In conjunction with the run, there will also be a health campaign, with booths available for health screening, health education, health talk and health consultation.

Date: 14th November 2010, Sunday
Venue: UKM, Bangi
Starting Time:
Men Open, Women Open, UKM Student's - 7am
Men Jr. Veteran, Women Jr. Veteran, Men Sr. Veteran, Women Sr. Veteran - 7.20am
School Boy's & Girl's - 7.30am
Registration Fee:
Group A : Open RM25
Group B : UKM Student RM 20 (Registration through Pusat Sukan or AMSA)
Group C : School RM 15 (Registration through Pusat Sukan or AMSA), or RM18 if online registration.
*all profit goes to SAHABAT PPUKM for the needy patients in UKM Medical Centre*

Men Jr. Veteran Open (age between 40 - 50) - 7km
Women Jr. Veteran Open (age between 40 - 50) - 7km
Men Sr. Veteran Open (above 51 years old) - 7km
Women Sr Veteran Open (above 51 years old) - 7km
School Boy's & Girl's (age 18 and below) - 5km
UKM students (age 18 and above) - 7km

- Finishing Medals: (Finishing Medals only for the first 50 who finish the run)

Category – School
1st place        Items worth RM 1000 + certificates
2nd place       Items worth RM 500 + certificates
3rd place       Items worth RM 300 + certificates
*The winner of this category is the school who sends the most participants who able to finish 5 km within 1 hour.*

Race Pack Collection:
Every participant will be give a race pack. Participants can collect it in :
12th November, 5pm - 8pm - HUKM
13th November, 8am - 5pm - UKM Bangi
*Running Jersey/T-shirt will be given to each participant*
