Greetings

Welcome to the world..eer..still to be call a 'world' maybe..just a small network among few of us who are bunch of newbies, weirdo's, professional..mm..what ever u like to call it! Team members including a cockroaches, fatdog, a clam(lala), a father of two who always saying some unexpected funny words & with his trademark quote..'nandieyohhhhhh'! and an old man..well..just a piece of shitttt whose favourites is 'mat salleh herbal tea' & ya..'what is life without herbal tea'! hehehhh! And of course..there are those weirdo's who never show up yet but im sure will be inserted soon enough!

Hopefully everyone would be logging in and write up some stories from time to time, from now on.

IBM Smarter Planet Charity Run 2010

The inaugural Smarter Planet Charity Run is organized by IBM Malaysia to raise funds for the Damai Disabled Persons Association (http://www.damai.org.my/). It is open to all IBM employees, customers, partners, friends, families, members of the Smarter Planet Malaysia Facebook community and the public. The event, which is also intended to ignite an appreciation of the spirit towards building a Smarter Planet in Malaysia, will bring runne...rs through a 5-kilometre route surrounding the Bandar Utama vicinity.

Join us at the IBM Malaysia Smarter Planet Charity Run to challenge yourself, or take the opportunity to spend some quality time with family and friends while raising funds for charity. The route and distance are ideal for beginners and serious runners alike.

Date: 7th August 2010, Saturday

Starting Time: 7:00am - 10:30am

Venue: Bandar Utama (flag-off at Central Park), Central Park Avenue, Dataran Bandar Utama, Petaling Jaya, Malaysia
Category:
1. Men Open– 21 years and above
2. Women Open – 21 years and above
3. Team – 2 runners per team, no age limit
Distance:5km
Registration:
Participants can sign up for the race by going to the Receiving Centre, 17th Floor, Plaza IBM, Bandar Utama from 9am to 5pm (Monday to Friday) by 30 July 2010.
Registration forms are available there and payment can be made by cash at the counter.
Alternatively, participants can also come and register on the day itself.

Participation Fee:
RM35 per person (non-refundable, inclusive of T-shirt)
Proceeds will be donated to the Damai Disabled Persons Association. http://www.damai.org.my/

Notes:
Runners who complete the course will receive a commemorative certificate for their efforts
Refreshments will also be served but please bring along enough water to avoid dehydration

Registration will be closed on 30 July 2010
