Enjoying the Sights & Sounds of Selangor through a Challenge
Interested to take on an extreme challenge whilst enjoying the green surroundings in Shah Alam? Then for those adrenaline junkies who love seeking challenging yet fun activities, this one is for you!
Set on the 31st July 2010, Saturday, the entire course of the challenge will cover approximately 20 to 25km through the scenic city of Shah Alam . There are 2 categories, men and women, and you are required to participate in pairs of two.
Participants will be flagged off at 8.30am from Dataran Kemerdekaan, Shah Alam and follow the directions to the slew of activities that are set up at every checkpoint.
Cycling, rowing, climbing, swimming and orienteering will be a few of the tests to challenge your mind, strength, skill and team play.
To make this challenge even more interesting, you and your partner have to accomplish all these activities in just 4 hours!
Cash prizes worth RM9000.00 await the top 10 teams who make it across the finish line with the fastest time.
So if you are above 18 years old, fit and up for the challenge you can register at events@tourismselangor.org. Registration fees of RM100.00 will include Personal insurance and goodie bag.
The Selangor Shines Extreme Challenge is organized by Hikers Climbers Adventure Team and Tourism Selangor Sdn Bhd.
