Finally, the moment that have been waited by running enthusiasts in Indonesia and abroad. The Bank Internasional Indonesia ("BII") is bringing back a marathon running race in Indonesia. This is a marathon race with an international scale and standard: The "BII Maybank Bali Marathon".
Organised by Bank International Indonesia - BII, the BII Maybank Bali Marathon (BMBM) 2012 is the first international full marathon held in Indonesia in over 20 years. The event will be held on Sunday, 22 April 2012. The race will start and finish near to the Bali Safari and Marine Park. The race will feature a combination of flat road and rolling hills.
The event will feature Bali’s iconic landmarks and traditional dance along the course. The Marathon Relay promises to foster both teamwork and strategic planning among a team of five runners completing the Full Marathon in a relay format.
The race is also dedicated to promote charity programme.

Flag-Off Time: 5am (Full Marathon & Full Marathon Relay Team), 5.30am (Half Marathon), 6am (10km)
Distance: 42km (Full Marathon & Relay Team), 21km (Half Marathon), 10km & Children's Sprint
Marathon Relay• Marathon Relay is a 5 person team with the first 4 legs approximately cover a distance of 6 to 7K and the last person runs approximately 14K.
• The first runner of the Marathon Relay team will begin the relay at the same start point and time as the Full Marathon participants.
Children's Sprint• The Children's sprint are non-competitive races so timing chips are not issued for children participants..
• It is mandatory for parents to accompany any children of age 6 years old and below to the sprint start for safety purposes.
