Xiamen International Marathon,one of the two leading marathon competition in China co-organized by Xiamen Municipal Government and Chinese Athletic Association,is registered with International Marathons and Road Races in 2004.It is held on the first Saturday of January every year.
Consistiong of full marathon,half marathon,10-km and 5-km races,Xiamen International Marathon attracts over 20000 participants.The Whole course runs largely through the scenic sections of the city,including Huandao Lu(Ring Road) and large landscaped areas,which are flat and considered to be ideal for a marathon race.In particular the scenic Huandao Lu is regarded among the most beautiful marathon courses in the world.Date: 2nd January 2011, Sunday

*The entry number limit of Marathon, Half Marathon, 10km race and 5km race are 20,000 respectively, with the total limited number of 80,000. *
Registartion Fee:
1) Domestic entries (including Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan): 40.00RMB per person, with the exemption of entry charges for those who are registration members of Chinese Athletic Association.
2) Overseas entries: 20.00USD per person.
3) Student entries by team registration (no less than 30 persons): 15.00 RMB per person.
4) Overtime registration: from December 13th to20th, double registration fees are required.
5) Class Applying entries: Chinese Residents Only. Only Marathon (42.195km) is open for Class Applying. Only Class Two (or above) is available. The charge is 60.00 RMB per person, and double charges for overtime registration.
Registration Info:
1) Both individual and team registration are accepted. Every entrant is required to fill in the Individual Entry Form (see Form I). Team registration shall fill in the Entry Form especially for TEAM Registration (see Form II) with the ORGANIZATION SEAL of the team, and shall attach individual Entry Forms of each team members.
2) Web Registration: from 10th October 2010 to 12th December 2010, till the total number limit is met.
3) Site Registration: from 1st November 2010 to 12th December 2010 till the total number limit is met.
- For Individual: 2:30pm-5:30pm from Sun. to Mon, also 9:00am-11:30am on Sat. & Sun.
- For Team: 9:00am-11:30am from Mon. to Fri. Only

Prizes:
Awards for ranking finishers: Top eight finishers in Men’s and Women’s Marathon will be issued with bonus (in USD, see the chart below), one medal and one set of track suit. Trophies will be issued to top three in Men’s and Women’s.

Time awards: Time awards should not be accumulated, the same person can be only awarded the highest one.
Men:
A. 10,000 USD will be awarded to those who finishes marathon between2:08:48- 2:10:00.
B. Every second less than 2:08:47, additional 500USD will be awarded to those who runs in 2:08:47(Xiamen Marathon Record).
Women:
A. 10,000 USD will be awarded to those who finishes marathon between 2:22:38 – 2:23:30
B. Every second less than 2:22:38 , additional 500USD will be awarded to those who runs in 2:22:38(Xiamen Marathon Record).
World Records Awards (for men and women): Prize 1,000,000 USD
1000,000 USD will be awarded for World Marathon Record Breaking.
3) Full Marathon finishers within the gate closing time will be issued with Result Certificates, souvenir medals, and bath towels.
Half marathon, 5km and 10km race: Only Participating Certificate are offered, no rankings.
*Before the race, each entrant will get a souvenir T-shirt, a cloakroom bag and number bibs.*
