TESCO Stores (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd will be organising a Walk for Schools charity walk to collect a minimum ofRM100,000 which will benefit 100 schools in the Klang Valley.

The programme, endorsed by the Ministry of Education, began on Jan 1 and culminates on March 7 in a 4.5km walk at 8am at Dataran Merdeka. About 5,000 people are expected to participate in the walk.

We always aim to make a positive contribution to the communities we are in, both in the way we do business and by supporting local causes. One of the ways is to help schools in the communities that we are in,” said corporate affairs directorMarlene Kaur.
