New World Marlborough Marathon 2011 - New Zealand

Welcome to the second edition of the New World Marlborough Marathon on Saturday December 3rd 2011! We spent a long time planning the first event and now we can't wait for number two to get underway. Here's hoping it's another stunning Marlborough day for everyone to enjoy.

Date: 3rd December 2011, Saturday
Venue: Seymour Square, Seymour Street, Blenheim, New Zealand
Race Start Time: 7am (Full Marathon), 7.40am (Haf Marathon), 7.50am (Quarter Marathon), 8am(Mini Marathon), 8.10am (Kids Mini Marathon)
Distance: 42.2km(Full Marathon), 21.1km (Half Marathon), 10km (Quatrter Marathon), 5km (Mini Marathon), 2km (Kids Mini Marathon)
Category: Men's & Women's Open (categories by age group)
Youth - age 0 to 17 years old*
Open - age 18 to 34 years old
Veteran 1 - age 35 to 49 years old
Veteran 2 - age 50 to 59 years old
Veteran 3 - age 60 to 69 years old
Veteran 4 - age 70 years old & above
*Youth Category will not in the FULL MARATHON distance*
Entry Fee:
Full Marathon = $25, Half Marathon = $20, Quarter Marathon = $10, Mini Marathon = $5

Race Prize:
Medal: For those entered in the marathon receive a medal when they cross the finish line.
Certificate: Will be available free of charge and will come as a downloadable option from the website. The certificate will contain the competitors name, category and net time they ran or walked the event in.
