And of course..there are those weirdo's who never show up yet but im sure will be inserted soon enough!

Walkathon 2011 In Aid of Nalanda

About Walkathon 2011
This Walkathon is organized by Nalanda Buddhist Society, a non-profit, service-oriented organization that focuses on promoting holistic education for integral human development.
This event is meant for the entire family. We will be walking in the vicinity of Taman Sri Serdang and the route is suitable for all ages. There will also be kid-friendly activities on the day. Join us at this fun- filled and meaningful family event, and walk with like-minded individuals in supporting Nalanda in providing better services to all Malaysians.

Why should you support?
Nalanda has been operating from a one-floor shoplot by a group of committed volunteers since 2003. With the newly refurbished four-storey Centre in Seri Kembangan, Nalanda keeps trying to absorb the increasing demand for its effective educational programmes and valuable services offered to the general public.
Nalanda aims to continue providing free courses, training programmes, tuition classes, and other services to benefit the entire community in Malaysia. Contributions and public donations are vital to sustain our operations and to improve our service quality. Therefore, we invite you and your family to be involved in this fund-raising Walkathon to give your support to our endeavours!

How can you support?
Register as a participant and encourage others to participate as well. Registration fee is RM30 for adults (age 19 and above) and RM20 for students (between ages 7 and 18).
Register as a Walkathon Sponsorship Fund-raiser to raise funds from your friends and relatives with the Walkathon Sponsorship Card.

NTV7 Feel Good Run 2011

!!!!GET ACTIVE, Have run and feel good at NTV7 FEEL GOOD RUN 2011 this coming JULY!!!!
The Home of Feel Good celebrates the station’s 13th anniversary this year by sharing the joy of being with friends and family, having fun while getting healthy, with the Feel Good Run 2011, to be kicked off on Sunday, 3rd July, at Sri Pentas, Bandar Utama in Petaling Jaya.
The Feel Good Run 2011 comprises a charity run with four categories, a mini carnival, and stage events. Proceeds from the fun runs will be channeled to selected charity.
With fees of RM25 for participants aged 13 and above and RM10 for those aged 12 years and below, the four categories of the charity run are as follows:
1) Feel Good Run – 7 km, aged 13 and above
2) Run with Celebrities – 3 km, aged 13 and above
3) Costume Fun Run – 3 km, aged 13 and above
4) Kids Run – 700 m, aged 12 and below

Jeli MTB Jamboree 2011


Here's an event to enjoy as a group rides. It's a lot of fun, there's some great riding, and even more importantly, there's some great off the course activities as well to keep you, your friends and family entertained in what promises to be the fun event of the year. This will take place at Jeli in Kelantan, and it promises to be a day of fun in the sun. The idea is to have as much fun both on and off your MTB, so why don't you make this your first fun and official MTB ride after Chinese New Year 2011. The race will start at 07.45 and this is when the real fun will begin. The route will take place in and around Jeli. It will be a moderate to tough and challenging route, but will suit riders of all fitness levels. We assume here a basic level of MTB competence. Included in your entry fee will be a special Tag No, plus there will be a great goodie bags including T-Shirt.

Race For Charity 2011

This is a fund raising explorace, aiming at excitement for the challenging games in the explorace other than money raising as donation to the Persatuan Penjagaan Anak-anak Terencat Akal, Saleng during our charity visit on the 26th right after the explorace. The organizer has designed various station oriented games featuring the aspects of mind and physical challenges as well as team work. On the other hand, for those who are int...erested in the charity visit, it's an excursion to a local institution of the people with special needs. We will have contact with them in proximity so that we, as university students, will be able to give them light of hope of getting better lives despite their defects. Maybe we can gain and learn something from them, because i believe that most of them will reflect perseverance in wading through the odds.

Walk for Children 2011

Walk For Children: 1 Malaysia Goes Green!
We are happy to announce that we, the students of the International Club at the International School of Kuala Lumpur (ISKL) will be hosting our second walkathon on Sunday, 13 March 2011. The walkathon in May 2010 gathered around 900 participants and RM78,000 raised for Shelter Home Malaysia (refer to Past Events). This year, we hope to host more than 2000 participants and raise more money to support Shelter Home, Malaysia and Rumah Kasih Sayang. All funds raised this year will proceed to the two charities. The walkathon is endorsed and approved by the Ministry of Education Malaysia, Private Division. The patron for this year's walkathon is YABhg Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, Malaysia's First Lady and the ambassador is Lisa Surihani. We hope to see you all on Sunday, 13 March!

1MALAYSIA Kuala Lumpur Heritage Xplorace 2011

!!!Join in the heritage explorace for a chance to win cash prizes and hampers worth RM20,000!!!
Menara Kuala Lumpur will be collaborating with Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) for the very first time in organizing 1Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Heritage Xplorace 2011, which will be fully supported by the Ministry of Information, Communication and Culture.
This event will give participants a chance to explore the Golden Triangle area including other parts of the city about 15km to search for clues and answers related to the heritage and culture based questions.
The main objective of this event is to introduce and promote the heritage landmarks in Kuala Lumpur city center and at the same time to inculcate awareness in Malaysian citizens to appreciate the country’s heritage.
The event is mainly targeted to youth, family, media and celebrities. It is opened to 2 participants for each team aged 18 years and above. HOWEVER, should there be any participant who is below 17 years old, their team partners must be 18 years and above, which are related to a family tie of father & son/daughter, mother & son/daughter, brother & sister and so forth.
Only the first 200 teams that register in accordance to the terms and conditions will be eligible to participate.
Registration fee for each participating team is RM50.00 for Malaysian citizens and RM100.00 for foreigners. Participants will receive a bottle of mineral water, a mini towel and a T-shirt during the event.

Spring Festival Botak Hill's Charity Mountain Bike Night Ride 2011

Why Botak Hill?  it was because we were always got exited while riding towards it.  Elevation was not that high but its barren peak and a lone standing tree presented a fascinating view.  On its peak we can look down and far of the grand Iskandar development area of Southwest Johor  and knowing that our off road riding trail is dwindling in the name of development. So this is quite an event to honor the hill knowing that we will miss her soon.

Jelajah Malaysia 2011


Jelajah Malaysia is the oldest bicycle race in Malaysia and it is ranked 2.2 class by UCI (Union Cyclist Internationale). Since its inception in 1963, Jelajah Malaysia is slowly and steadily beginning to be one of the most prestigious bicycle race amongst Asian and International teams.
Through wide coverage that is empowered by local and international media, Jelajah Malaysia had proven itself as an important event in promoting Malaysia to the world as a tourism and leisure destination.
It is a platform for young Malaysian riders to compete and gain valuable experience in a cycling race. Currently many riders that is representing Malaysia now starts from their participation in the Jelajah Malaysia and the number of Malaysian riders that is accepted into international teams had increased. The exposure through Jelajah Malaysia makes the Malaysian rider a great bicycle rider for the future.
Jelajah Malaysia for 2010 will start from Selangor through Perak, Pulau Pinang, Kedah and Perlis with 5 stages from 27th April to 1st May 2010; Jelajah Malaysia will have a criterium one day race after that in Langkawi Island on 2nd May, 2010.
At all the START and FINISH, the organizer will create mini carnivals which will incorporate recreational and entertainment activities and also exhibition site for Government and Private sector to display their goods and services. It is envisaged that a local crowd between 10,000 to 15,000 people will participate in these festivities.
The Organiser also realizes that it is important to promote the event to the nation, these side events will be telecast nationally so that the whole nation will be able to see the local culture that is on display either live or delayed. The Organiser believe in giving value back for Sponsor’s contribution for the event. In terms of sponsor benefits, the Organiser will provide maximum exposure locally and internationally. With technical branding items, advertising materials, promotions and air time slot, all sponsors should be satisfied with the returns for their investment.

Bioprocess Engineering Students Society (BIOSS), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) Johor Bahru campus proudly organized this inaugural event to show support on healthy and green lifestyle together in advocating the well known recreational cycling activity among students and the community. BIOSS is a group of bioprocess engineering students from Faculty of Chemical Engineering (FChE) in UTM that gather and involve in co curriculum activities as one team in our programme, nationally and internationally.
